Milton Keynes Lightning are thrilled to announce the signing of Latvian forward Martins Susters for the upcoming 2024/25 season. With an impressive track record and a passion for the game, Susters is set to be a significant addition to the team.

 

Susters, a 6’2″ left winger, comes from the Peterborough Phantoms where he played 19 games, he scored 18 goals and contributed 21 assists, totaling 39 points. His offensive skills and ability to protect the puck make him a formidable presence on the ice.

 

“I am excited to be joining MK Lightning!” said Martins Susters. “The team is looking competitive and will be ready to fight for silverware. The opportunity came and I wanted to be a part of it! Looking forward to meeting everyone in September and can’t wait to get things started!”

 

Head Coach Tim Wallace expressed his enthusiasm about the new addition: “Martins is a big strong player that protects the puck well with an elite shot. I expect him to come in great shape and make a difference from the start. Martins is a passionate player who wants to win, and that is exactly what we are striving for in Milton Keynes.”

 

His addition to the MK Lightning roster underscores the team’s commitment to bringing in top talent to achieve their goals for the season.  With his impressive stats and dedication to the sport, Martins Susters is expected to make a significant impact from the outset.
