Ice Hockey fans from all over the Country can continue to catch their favourite home town teams on away trips to Milton Keynes this coming season as Lightning TV returns to stream home games live.
Lightning TV, which celebrates its 10th birthday in November, proved immensely popular over the last two seasons as games could be viewed on a pay per view basis via the fantastic Infinity21 platform.
Infinity21 will once again be providing the platform for the Live Stream and that will be complemented once more with a high speed data link provided by Oakhill Voice Solutions who step up this season to be the major broadcast Partner to Lightning TV.
The partnership with the University of Buckingham also continues with the majority of the Lightning TV Crew working with the service whilst enhancing their media exposure and experience as part of their studies at the popular University.
Chris Dickens returns as the Commentator on games nights and there will be the occasional guest appearance by others.
Chris had this to say “I’ve been involved with Lightning TV for almost 10 years and it’s been amazing to see it evolve into what we have now. Everyone has put so much hard work into making this happen again and it’s a real privilege to work with some fantastic people. I’d especially like to thank Karl at Oakhill, The University of Buckingham, David at Infinity21 and the Management of Lightning for their help and huge support in getting this project back together for this coming season. I’m confident that we can provide a service that will be up there with the best in the League”
We’d also like to thank Spitfire Scaffolding for building the TV gantry
