MK Lightning is delighted to announce the re-signing of Mack Stewart for the upcoming 2023/24 season. This will mark Mack’s second consecutive season with the team after signing on a 2-way contract with MKL and Belfast Giants last season.
During the previous season, Mack showcased his skills and talent on the ice. In his 37 games played for the Lightning, Mack scored 6 goals with 8 assists, resulting in a total of 14 points.
Prior to his time with the MK Lightning, Mack Stewart spent a substantial portion of his junior career with the Belfast Giants.
In light of Mack’s re-signing, MK Lightning Head Coach Tim Wallace expressed his enthusiasm and high expectations for the upcoming season. Tim said, “Mack is a great skater with exceptional skill who poses a challenge for any opponent. His speed and tenacity allow him to generate offence, making him a formidable force on the ice. This season holds great promise for Mack, and I am genuinely excited to witness his continued growth and potential.”
Mack Stewart himself is thrilled to extend his time with MK Lightning and is eager for the opportunities that lie ahead. Mack expressed his excitement, stating, “I can’t wait for another year in MK.
