The 2020/21 season is Smith’s sixth year of involvement with Milton Keynes Lightning. They were heavily involved in the regeneration of the Morrisons and Planet Ice area, involved in both infrastructure and buildings works whilst MKL played out of Coventry. The team’s return to the newly refurbished Milton Keynes arena heralded the start of Smiths’ involvement with the team.
Smith Construction Group Ltd formed in 1994 to provide a comprehensive civil engineering and groundworks support to construction projects. The company has enjoyed steady growth since then and now offers a broad range of services across Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, Bedford and Northamptonshire and works with clients in both the private and public sector. The construction business has gone from strength to strength.
The Smith Recycling arm of the business is the leading provider of skip hire and recycling services to both trade and domestic customers across the Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire areas. All skip material that they collect is treated locally at their dedicated recycling facility where they aim to reduce, reuse or recycle up to 90% of waste, diverting as much away from landfill as possible.
