MK Lightning is thrilled to announce the signing of Ben Brown for the upcoming 2023/24 season.
The 19 year old forward will bring his talent to the team after playing for Dundee Comets and Dundee Stars last season.
During his time with Dundee Comets, Brown scored 29 goals and had 23 assists, amassing an impressive total of 52 points in 24 games. He has spent his entire career in Dundee and now looks forward to joining the MKL team for the first time.
MK Lightning Head Coach Tim Wallace commented, “Ben has a great shot and plays a physical game. All the people I have talked to about Ben had nothing but good things to say. He needs playing time and I am happy to help develop his game. I can see Ben being a great pro if he puts in the work.”
Brown expressed his excitement about joining the team, saying, “I’m really excited about joining MK and this opportunity. There’s a buzz around the club that I’m excited to be a part of. From speaking with Tim and Joe, I feel I can really develop my game and contribute to the team, bringing back a trophy or 2 this season.”
