Milton Keynes Lightning proudly announce the re-signing of defenseman Archie Salisbury on a two-year deal extending through the 2026 season. As the captain of the Great Britain U18 team, Salisbury’s return marks a significant boost for the team’s defence and future development.
Salisbury, at just 17 years old, has already made a substantial impact on the ice, known for his physical play and youthful power. During the 2023/24 season, he played 37 games and recorded 5 assists. Known for his physical play and determination, Salisbury embodies the future of the Lightning’s defensive line.
“Archie has improved so much in the few months he has been with us. Archie plays hard and loves the physical side of the game. He is eager to learn and works extremely hard.
