England Ice Hockey has announced the Pride week dates of the 18-26th January 25.
This is the forth year, Ice hockey clubs, as part of the EIH have been asked to participate and raise awareness of Pride and promote that “Hockey is for Everyone”.
Following on from 2 successful Pride events at MK Lightning, where MKL together with the MKL Supporters Club have donated money to You Can Play (2023), and last year to Hockey is Diversity (2024) we are delighted to let you know we are taking part again.
Our goal remains the same: to raise awareness.
As usual, MK Lightning will mark the occasion with a special jersey design.
The MKL Supporters Club will also be producing a limited range of Pride-themed merchandise, and we’re hoping to bring back our favourite drag artist “Sandy Flaps” for another unforgettable appearance. If you haven’t experienced Pride at MK Lightning before, this is your year to join the celebration!
