MK Lightning is excited to announce the signing of Harry Gulliver for the 2023/24 season. The 23-year-old forward was born in Essex and joins MK Lightning from Raiders Ice Hockey Club, where he scored an impressive 22 goals and 31 assists during the 2022/23 season.
Gulliver’s hockey journey began at the Okanagan Hockey Academy, where he honed his skills and developed into the player he is today. He has also spent time in North America with the Ogden Mustangs, gaining valuable experience and exposure to different playing styles and systems. His experience, scoring ability, and attacking threat will be valuable additions to the team’s forward lines.
MK Lightning Head Coach Tim Wallace is thrilled to have Gulliver on the team: “Harry has all the attributes that I love in a player. He can skate, play physical, protect the puck and has a great skill set. Harry has a bright future and has the desire to take his game to the next level which is exactly what I was looking for. When he is playing at his best he is an exciting player that is a lot of fun to watch.”
Harry said “Just want to say thank you to Tim and Joe for giving me the opportunity to sign for MK. I’m really looking forward to starting the season, getting to know the boys and to meet all the fans. Playing against MK last season was an amazing atmosphere and experience with the fans so I can’t wait to be involved with the them and the team itself.
