Lightning Legends jersey 20th anniversary

As part of the 1st of April’s Legends Night celebrating the 20th Anniversary of MK Lightning, we will be wearing a very special one off jersey for the evening.

 

This jersey has been designed, together with the MKL Supporters Club to showcase the history of the club by including the names of every one of the 239 players who have pulled on a Lightning Jersey over the last 20 years.  We’ve done our absolute best to include everyone on this list which you can see here.

 

You’ll notice the jersey has no sponsor logos on it.  The reason for this is we would like a true retro style design and used logo free NHL-style designs as the inspiration for that.  More importantly it also gives more visibility of the player names in the background.  Player names will feature 3-4 times over the jersey to ensure they are all seen.

How can I get my hands on a “MKL Legends” Jersey?

These are truly unique jerseys.  They will not be owned and loaned as we are celebrating the players who have worn an MK Lightning shirt, and we want no other text visible on the jerseys, this is again ties in with the no sponsor logos.
