Yesterday evening MK Lightning helped with a Charity Calendar photo shoot.
The 12 images on the Calendar are all profiling ladies to represent their background and their battle with Cancer. The calendar will be on sale soon, as well as an exhibition of the photos.
The lovely Jane put on all the gear and was helped out onto the ice by Bobby and Sloth before posing with Hedley and Smital for photos.
She did amazingly well, for a 71 year old, as the goalie gear isn’t light, and being on the ice is strange in itself.
A huge thank you to the guys who helped on the ice, and to Vinnie (and Kevin) from Thunder for the loan of the kit and to Carl the photographer, for having the idea and inviting MK Lightning to take part.
We’ll let you know more when the calendar goes on sale to raise vital funds to Cancer Research.
