The Smith Recycling Milton Keynes Lightning are excited to announce another brand new sponsorship agreement for the 2018-19 season with the signing of Mr Mulligan’s Lost World Golf.  The family friendly, nationwide leisure chain will open its 10th UK centre at “12th Street”, the renamed Theatre District on Friday 27 April.

A sister venue to the hugely popular Mr Mulligan’s Pirate Golf at Abbey Hill in Milton Keynes, the 12th Street centre will let children and adults alike challenge themselves on two indoor adventure golf courses.  Dive into the Underwater Kingdom, a 12 hole mystery set amongst the darkest of sea creatures – and enter the Enchanted Forest, seeing the course through the eyes of Alice in Wonderland, dodging the giant toadstools, caterpillars and tree stumps.

There will also be a 150 seat restaurant hosting family days out, birthday parties and school outings, as well as corporate events.  For adult adventurers, a late-night bar will serve mystical cocktails and alcoholic slushees with an on-course waiter service.

Craig Murray from Mr Mulligan’s lost world golf said

“The team are very excited about opening up their 4th indoor venue in such a great location. We look forward to working closely with local business such as MK Lightning, becoming part of the community and offering the residents of Milton Keynes and surrounding areas a unique venue for all age groups.”

MK Lightning’s Commercial Manager, Sarah Jane Smyth, commented: “We’re absolutely delighted to have attracted another brand new sponsor as we look towards our second season at the top level of ice hockey.

“Mr Mulligan’s Adventure Golf at Abbey Hill is already very popular and we wish their new venue at 12th Street every success.  Like the Lightning they are a successful family-friendly leisure destination and we’re really looking forward to working with them over the next year.”

Mr Mulligan’s Lost World Golf will feature on a rink-side barrier board at the Planet Ice MK Arena and their logo will feature in the Lightning monthly magazine and on the club website right through the 2018-19 Elite League ice hockey season.
