Following hot on the heels of an announcement confirming a collaboration with MK Thunder, MK Lightning’s new owners, Graham and Monica Moody, have agreed another one; this time with ice hockey juniors, MK Storm.
Effective immediately, all MK Storm players will gain free admission to all MK Lightning matches, when accompanied by an adult paying the full ticket price. The juniors will also benefit from expert on-ice mentoring with MK Lightning players committed to regularly attending MK Storm training sessions during the season.

Commenting on the collaboration, Graham said:

Grass-roots sports are so important, not just for the young people involved but also for the senior teams of the future. We’re really keen to ensure that the junior players feel like an extended part of the MK Lightning family. Who knows, one day, they could be playing for us! So, it’s critical that we work together to positively promote Milton Keynes ice-hockey, as well as encourage and excite the juniors by exposing them to the senior game.

MK Storm Chairman, Tony Green, added:

This is a refreshing approach and we welcome this and future collaborations with MK Lightning. It’s a fantastic opportunity for junior MK players to really get immersed in the highest level of hockey in the UK. The interactions with MK Lightning players during our training sessions will really energise the juniors too, as well as provide some insights from these seasoned professionals and GB Coach Pete Russell too! We’re really pleased to be working with Graham, Monica and the team.”

Graham and Monica recently confirmed that all MK Lightning Season Ticket holders can get more than 40% off MK Thunder match day tickets, reducing the standard price from £9 to just £5 per game.
And as well as reduced entry to MK Thunder games, any fan buying an Early Bird season ticket before 7th July will also be put into a free prize draw to win the chance to meet the new MK Lightning team in the locker room after the first match!

There are three prizes available and the winners will also be given a tour behind-the-scenes at MK Lightning.

Adult season tickets are available for just £468; any adult purchasing a child’s Early Bird season ticket at the same time can do so for just £120 for children aged 3 to 15 years old.

Concessions are also available for young adults (aged 16 to 21 years old including students), senior citizens and supporters with disabilities.
