The Smith Recycling Milton Keynes Lightning continue their summer signings with the news that netminder Adam Goss will wear MKL colours for the 2018-19 season.

A native of Derby, 23 year old Adam is actually a product of the Coventry junior system.  He began his hockey career with the Blaze at U16 level.  His senior debut with the organisation came in 2011 followed by selection for Great Britain U18s in 2012.  Adam has also represented GB U20s more than a dozen times, backstopping them to gold medal glory in the World Junior Championships in the 2014-15 season.

In 2014 he moved to North America commencing studies at Mercyhurst University in Pennsylvania.  During his stay there, Adam represented the University’s hockey team for the last four years.

Now his studies have concluded, Adam is ready for another attempt at the Elite League and looking forward to getting started with the Lightning:

Head Coach Doug McKay commented:

“Adam’s backed up his existing experience of the British game with four seasons in the US collegiate system, which will have been a real benefit to him.  I’m looking forward to him joining up with us and helping him push on to the next stage of his hockey career and I know our great supporters will give him a warm welcome.”
