On Monday, Aaron from AIB Group, Dave from the MKL Supporters Club and Tim Wallace, Dillon Lawrence and Patrik Forsberg went to UnityMK to drop off the huge collection of donations that you, the Lightning Fans, brought to the game on Saturday night as part of the Community Foundation set up with AIB and MKL.
Rob from the shelter said “Thank you so much for the massive donation, we have spent the day going through it all and everything donated is really useful. Even down to bin bags, I know it sounds silly but we have to buy these normally and you have given us at least a months supply. Your donation will help us to support our guests over the coldest months.”
We’re proud to work with All In Black (AIB) to support the Milton Keynes community. The joint creation of the Community Foundation, continues to make a positive impact by supporting local groups and charities – with the successful collection for UnityMK reinforcing this.
