Introducing the MKL Pre-Season Plans 2023/24
The weather may be hot, but the countdown has started. The squad is building nicely, things are starting to take shape. There’s 12 weeks to go until our 2023/24 pre-season begins!
This year, we are mixing things up a little in terms of order and opponents, and we can’t wait to see the team take to the ice in September. Here’s the info:

Warm up weekend includes a mixed MK Lightning / MK Thunder game (This game is not included in your Season Ticket) and Meet the Players.
Meet the players will be under a separate ticket to gain access to the bar.
Note: Any profit made from this weekend will be donated to the juniors.
We are looking forward to seeing MKL take to the ice against Coventry for the first time since 2019 and it will provide a good, intense preparation for the upcoming season. As well as giving us a great workout, taking on Elite League opponents also gives a chance to see a different team on the ice. It should be a lot of fun!
For the Warmup Weekend, this will follow a similar format to last year, with an on ice game followed by meet the players. It will give a chance to see Lightning and Thunder both in action together and will really bring the recently announced MK Talent Pathway to life.
The keen eyed will note that with 27 league games and 1 pre-season this leaves one additional game on your ticket. This will count towards an additional fixture such as Cup Semi-Final or Playoff if we make it (if we don’t make either of these competitions then a refund for one game will be given).
