​We’re sad to announce that our game night DJ, Mark Canham (AKA DJ Bertie) is stepping down for the rest of the season on health grounds. Mark has been a constant in the DJ booth since our first season back in 2002 and is very much one of the unsung heroes of the off-ice team.

MKL Director Jon Payne said “Mark’s a great guy and turns up week after week to keep everyone entertained with his tunes and playlists which are a massive part of the game night experience.  Everyone at MK Lightning would like to wish Mark all the very best as he goes into surgery today. We wish him a speedy recovery and we are looking forward to welcoming him back at the rink in September.”

We would like to also thank Mike Walls and Karl Montford who will be stepping in for Mark over the last few games of the season.
