MK Lightning is pleased to announce the re-signing of Ed Knaggs for the upcoming 2023/24 season. This will mark Knaggs’ third consecutive season with MKL.
In the previous season, Knaggsy showcased his exceptional skills playing in 55 games for the Lightning, making a significant impact on both ends of the ice. He scored a record 6 goals and 33 assists, accumulating an impressive total of 39 points. Knaggs’ offensive contributions and defensive prowess have solidified his reputation as one of the league’s best defensemen.
Head Coach Tim Wallace spoke highly of Ed, stating, “Knaggsy is one of the best defensemen in the league when he is going. He is a great skater and brings an offensive element that helps us win hockey games. He is a coachable player that wants to improve. He’s a key member of our team and it’s great to have him back.”
Knaggsy expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming season, stating, “I’m thrilled to be back in MK for the upcoming season, playing in front of the best fans in the league. I can’t wait to meet up with the guys in September and go hunting for trophies!” His excitement and determination reflect his commitment to bringing success to the Lightning Team.
