Smith Recycling Milton Keynes Lightning and the Supporters Club Raise £5,347 for the Royal British Legion

Smith Recycling Milton Keynes Lightning, together with the Milton Keynes Lightning Supporters Club have raised £5,347 for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal. On Saturday evening for the 7-2 victory over Bracknell Bees, the arena was awash with special, limited edition jerseys which were worn for the weekend only, and had been produced with a unique poppy design to reflect the British Legion’s well known appeal.  Game worn jerseys were purchased by fans as ‘Own and Loan’ items, and a run of replica jerseys was also produced and sold online.  The Supporters Club also ran fundraising activities at the game [...]

Introducing our Remembrance Day Commemorations

Smith Recycling Milton Keynes Lightning together with the Supporters Club are delighted to share with you our plans to commemorate Remembrance Day 2019. On Saturday 9th November for the home game against Bracknell Bees, we will remember those who have fallen, pay our respects and support the Royal British Legion by wearing a special Remembrance jersey. It's been clear to everyone that Smith Recycling Milton Keynes Lightning has been playing with a short bench recently, with a set of players missing through injury. Signing News: Top forward Liam brings goal scoring x-factor to MKL

Bringing a further injection of goal scoring talent to our top lines, we’re delighted that Liam Stewart has signed for the Smith Recycling Milton Keynes Lightning.  25 year old Liam is a British / New Zealand dual national and brings with him an impressive hockey background. MK Lightning and the Supporters Club to raise funds for Milton Keynes Cancer Centre appeal

Smith Recycling Milton Keynes Lightning together with the Supporters Club are delighted to announce that this season we will be raising funds for our chosen charity, Milton Keynes Hospital Charity’s Cancer Centre Appeal. The appeal is raising funds for a new Cancer Centre which will allow the hospital to provide more complex cancer treatments for their patients here in Milton Keynes. Lewis Christie signs short term deal

Lewis Christie has signed a short term contract with Smith Recycling Milton Keynes Lightning.  Edinburgh born Lewis is no stranger to MK, having iced 9 seasons for Lightning, and most recently for Thunder.  He has Elite League experience with Edinburgh, Belfast and Basingstoke and is a GB U18 and U20 cap. Ross Bowers is our Assistant Coach

Ice Hockey fans from all over the Country can continue to catch their favourite home town teams on away trips to Milton Keynes this coming season as Lightning TV returns to stream home games live.
