Thank you and goodbye: Sean Norris will not be returning to MK Lightning in the 23/24 season.
Sean Norris, played over 80 games in an MKL jersey. Last season he played 45 games, and had a knack for creating scoring opportunities. With 27 goals and an impressive 49 assists, Sean's 76 points were important for the team. Sean also made a great impact in the Elite league last year playing for the Belfast Giants and being selected for the GB squad. We wish him every success in the next step in his hockey journey.

During last season, Lewy played 47 games, scoring 4 goals and providing 14 assists, achieving a total of 18 points. Dumfries-based ice hockey team, Solway Sharks, are the latest addition to the Planet Ice NIHL National Division ice hockey league for the upcoming 2023/24 season. Scottish Prospect Ben Brown Steps up to MK Lightning for the 23/24 Season
MK Lightning is thrilled to announce the signing of Ben Brown for the upcoming 2023/24 season. The 19 year old forward will bring his talent to the team after playing for Dundee Comets and Dundee Stars last season. During his time with Dundee Comets, Brown scored 29 goals and had 23 assists, amassing an impressive total of 52 points in 24 games. This is big. We’re so happy to bring you the news that Ross Venus has signed for the upcoming 2023/24 season. The 29-year-old forward joins us from Coventry Blaze, where he spent the 2022/23 season, scoring 9 goals and 23 assists. Joe Wilson Returns and Joins Showcase Tournament as Coach
In a double bit of good news, we are delighted to confirm, as announced at the End of Season Awards night, that Joe Wilson will return to MKL as Assistant Coach in a two year deal, and that he will also be one of the coaches at the EIHA’s Showcase tournament this weekend. Callum Field returns to MK Lightning after a record goal-scoring year
MK Lightning are delighted to announce the re-signing of Callum Field for the 2023/24 season.
