Milton Keynes Lightning are delighted to announce the re-signing of centreman Callum Field for the 2024/25 season. Known for his impressive size and centreman skills, Field is set to bring his presence back to the ice at Planet Ice MK Arena.

Callum Field, born in Northampton, GBR, has rapidly developed into a key player for the Lightning. Standing at 6’5″ and weighing 201 lbs, Field’s skill set make him a valuable asset to the team. Last season, he played 49 games, scoring 4 goals and providing 4 assists.   Callum, still a young man, has spent his carer in Sheffield, Nottingham or MK, playing for the Lightning for the past 4 seasons, since the age of just 16 years old.  

Expressing his enthusiasm for the upcoming season, Callum Field said, “Can’t wait to get started again and represent the club I love and play in front of the best fans in the league.”

MK Lightning Head Coach Tim Wallace shared his thoughts on Field’s re-signing: “Callum keeps getting better every year, and I expect next year to be his best. He knows how to score and is trusted by Joe and I in the defensive zone. When Callum is going and plays with confidence, he can be a great player for us. The future is bright for Callum if he puts in the work this summer.”

His ability to leverage his size and centreman skills, combined with his commitment and continuous improvement, are set to make a significant impact in the upcoming season.

MK Lightning are excited to welcome Callum Field back and look forward to a successful season with him on the team. 

Callum will wear the number 11  jersey, which is available from to Own and Loan now.
