We have been informed in the last 24 hours that, due to ongoing construction at the Leeds rink, Smith Recycling Milton Keynes Lightning’s game against them will be played at Planet Ice Milton Keynes on 1st December at 17:15. The details are being developed, but here’s what we know so far:
Tickets are now on sale from PLANET ICE MILTON KEYNES at: https://iceaccount.co.uk/ice-events/milton-keynes/home . All Gate receipts go to Leeds Chiefs.
- It will be a Home game for Leeds, and an Away game for MKL
- Season Tickets will not count towards this game, and MKL will not be selling the tickets for the game, nor receiving the gate receipts
- Season Ticket spaces will be reserved for the game until 90 mins before (a bit like for our first challenge game of the year) and Season Ticket holders will be able to buy their place for Adults £10, Concessions £7, Child £5, Family (2+2) £27. Season Ticket holders can only purchase their seats in person or by phone through the Box Office – 01908 540020
- Ticket prices for non-Season Ticket holders will be Adults £14, Concessions £11, Child £7, Family (2+2) £38
- We will still use our usual home dressing room
- Leeds will wear their white shirt so we will wear our dark shirt (the first chance to see it for some of you!).
- We will use our usual bench and defend the usual goals for 2 periods.
- Supporters Club will have the opportunity to sell MKL merchandise, but we’ve not yet finalised with Dave and the gang how this will work
- We’ve been asked if we can provide our usual set of amazing volunteers to run the game (thank you all!) and we don’t yet know if we can provide medical and security services as we usually do. We don’t know who will be the announcer and/or DJ.
- VIP, Bench with the Lightning and Group sales will not be available.
- Leeds fans will use the home rink away seating sections as normal.
