We are pleased to share with you the fixtures for the 2024/25 Puckiverse Milton Keynes Lightning ice hockey season. Our League season begins at home on 14th September against Romford Raiders with a 7pm face off, followed by a trip to Leeds vs the league champions the following day (15th September) at 5:15pm.
Most Lightning home games will be on Saturdays as usual, with a few exceptions to note:
Sunday 29th September vs Solway Sharks
Friday 18th October vs Bristol Pitbulls
Sunday 16th February vs Swindon Wildcats
Sunday 23rd February vs Bristol Pitbulls
Home fixtures around Christmas and New Year are 21st December vs. Swindon, 28th December vs Peterborough Phantoms and 4th January vs Berkshire Bees.
This season, the cup competition will see a streamlined format, making it even more intense and engaging. The qualifying stage will consist of 10 games instead of the previous 20. Each team will play every other team once, resulting in 5 home and 5 away games. The semi-finals and finals of the cup competition (both over 2 legs home and away) will aim to be completed by the end of December, subject to fixture availability.
The final weekend of the regular season is 21st March 2025, which will then be followed by three weekends of playoffs and Coventry weekend on 19th-20th April if we qualify. Playoff format will be shared in due course.

Tickets are not yet on sale (we’ll let you know when they are). The website fixtures page does show on sale dates for each fixture, but please note these may be subject to change as the fixtures are loaded on (we expect the first 3 matches to go on sale earlier than it says).
