Milton Keynes Lightning are excited to announce the return of Ross Venus for the 2024/25 season. Known for his point-scoring prowess and skilled gameplay, Venus brings a wealth of experience and a significant impact to the team.
Last season, Venus was instrumental in the Lightning’s success, playing 47 games and scoring 31 goals with 72 assists, amassing an impressive 103 points. His performance was a key factor in the team’s achievements, and his return promises more thrilling hockey for the Lightning fans.
“I’m very excited to be returning for a second season with MK. I really enjoyed last season and hopefully, we can build on what we have started together and bring even more trophies back for the amazing MK fans,” said Ross Venus.
Head Coach Tim Wallace shared his enthusiasm for Venus’ return, praising his skill and leadership. “Ross is a pleasure to play and work with. He has a high level of skill and does whatever he can to help the team. He leads through example and creates offence out of nothing. I am glad to have him in a Lightning jersey and look forward to seeing what he can do in year two.”
