Milton Keynes Lightning is thrilled to announce the re-signing of forward Harry Gulliver for the 2024/25 season. Gulliver, a key player in the team’s offence, returns after an impactful 27-game run last season, where he tallied an impressive 32 points from 17 goals and 15 assists.  Harry has an ability to influence games with his shooting accuracy, impactful plays, and dynamic on-ice energy.

Despite facing challenges due to injury, Gulliver’s performance remained a testament to his resilience and skill on the ice. His return for the 24/25 season is highly anticipated by the team and fans.  “Just sold my car……. To Harry Gulliver” is set to ring out round the rink again.

MK Lightning Head Coach Tim Wallace expressed his enthusiasm about Gulliver’s return, highlighting the forward’s critical role: “Harry brings an element that we need to win hockey games. When he is at his best he is playing physical and getting to the net. He is a strong player with great speed. He battled through a lot of adversity last year and found a way to get back playing good hockey at the end of the year. When Harry is 100% and playing at his level he is one of the best players in the league. If he puts in the work this summer he will be dominant come the fall.”

Gulliver himself is eager to build on last season’s achievements and contribute to the team’s success: “I’m happy to be back in Milton Keynes. I’m looking forward to another year with the best fans in league. Last year was a difficult season for me with my injury and I wouldn’t want to be playing anywhere else but in MK.

Last year with the boys was just a great season and I’m looking forward to pushing for more success with this amazing club.”

Harry Gulliver, who has become a fan favourite for his thrilling gameplay and dedication, is poised to continue his ascent as one of the league’s standout talents. His commitment to excellence is clear, and his upcoming season with MK Lightning is eagerly awaited by all supporters of the team.
