We are pleased to share with you the fixtures for the 2023/24 Milton Keynes Lightning ice hockey season. Our season begins at home on 23rd September against Raiders with a 7pm faceoff, followed by a trip to Sheffield the following day (24th September) at 4:30pm. Our first meeting with last season’s champions Leeds Knights is on Saturday 7th October at home.
Most Lightning home games will be on Saturdays as usual, with a few exceptions to note (Weds 27th September vs. Hull, Friday 10th November vs. Swindon, Sunday 11th February vs. Swindon and Sunday 24th March vs. Bristol). Fixtures between Christmas and New Year are 28th December vs. Peterborough, and New Years Day (1st January) vs. Swindon.
The final weekend of the regular season is 30-31st March 2024, which will then be followed by three weekends of playoffs and Coventry weekend on 27th-28th April if we qualify. Playoff format will be shared in due course. Team’s first home and first away meetings will also count as Cup games and the top 4 in this mini league will qualify for a semi-final and final.
