We are really sad to let you know that Teresa Mitchell will be stepping down at the end of the season from her role helping on the MKL Ticket Desk.  After a number of years of exceptional support, she is stepping back to allow her to attend MKL games as a spectator and enjoy the games and even see the warmup!  You’ll still find her in her usual plexi spot.

If you’ve ever picked up paper tickets for a match, Teresa will almost certainly have been the lady giving them out to you, and over time she has met a lot of people.  In fact, Teresa knows everyone who comes to the rink, whether this be former players, or new players’ families, and even away team players and staff – all because she’s an amazing person and also has been around Ice hockey for years.

In other roles, she’s hosted players when they arrive in the area, such as current MKL Captain Lewis Christie when he first moved down from Scotland, has driven the team bus before moving into her more recent role giving out pre-bought tickets.

She has promised not to be a stranger on match nights, and will come and say hi at the desk but for now we just wanted to show our appreciation for everything.

Thank you Teresa for all you have done for MK Hockey.
