SEAN NORRIS
He’s scored some crucial goals for MKL this season and we’re thrilled to confirm Sean Norris will be helping Lewy mark his testimonial. In just his second season with Lightning he’s established himself as a proven goalscorer. His post-match race around the rink with the mascots has become a tradition!
SAM TALBOT
Another player who lights the lamp regularly, Sam has also become a fans’ favourite and last season was our second highest points scorer with his speed, dynamic stick handling and lethal shot being too much for a lot of teams to handle.
ROSS GREEN
Wearing the A on his jersey this season, Ross has only ever iced for MK teams – if you’ve ever taken part in the post-game public skate sessions you might’ve seen him helping his young son Henry to get familiar with skating on the ice his dad just played on!
BEN RUSSELL
Ben is MK born and bred and another product of the Milton Keynes hockey system – so he knows how much every win means to our fantastic fans after playing five seasons in our colours!
JAMES GRIFFIN
“There’s a Griffin in your way”, we hear our fans sing most match nights, with James having earned a reputation as an uncompromising D-man in eight seasons in our colours. Did you know: Griff designed not only our Zeus logo, the 20th anniversary logo and also the LJ19 logo for Jaimo’s big night, as well as Lewy’s logo!
ED KNAGGS
Another player who started his career in MK, Ed has played a key part in Lightning’s season as one of our hardworking blue liners. He’s known for his slick skating and confident puck movement.
BOBBY CHAMBERLAIN
What else can we say about Bobby that you don’t already know? He’s a points scorer with an uncompromising style, and we hear “Oh Bobby Bobby” ring around the rink most Saturday nights! And if you watched the game when he shared the Lightning TV mic with Chris Dickens, his reaction to the game winning goal spoke volumes for how passionate he is about being part of the team.
