Commemoration of Remembrance Day has always been a huge part of the Milton Keynes Lightning season, and this year is no exception. As a club, we are committed supporters of our armed forces, through our fundraising for the Royal British Legion, and our signature of the Armed Forces covenant. None of this is possible without the amazing fundraising and support efforts of the Milton Keynes Lightning Supporters Club.
This year, we will be commemorating Remembrance Day at our fixture on Saturday 13th November against Bees IHC. During that fixture, we will play in our commemorative jersey, and will welcome representatives of the Royal British Legion to join us for a presentation ceremony.
We are thrilled with this year’s jersey design, and it’s available to Own and Loan and/or purchase through our online shop or at the Supporters’ Club table. All profits will be split 50/50 between the club and the Royal British legion.
Own & Loan costs £125 per jersey. Jerseys will be worn in the game on the 13th November vs. Bees, and then presented at the game on the 20th November vs. Telford Tigers.

The jersey design is unique and reflects a combination of our team logos and the poppies which represent the appeal. There will be the chance to win the #24 blood shirt on Ollie’s grid,

MK Lightning and the Supporters Club intend to jointly present a cheque to the Charity at the game on the 13th November.
