Lightning reveal backup netminder for Glasgow trip

The Smith Recycling Milton Keynes Lightning have announced that Jordan Boyle will be the team’s back-up net minder for Saturday’s road game against the Glasgow Clan (Saturday 17 November).

The Elite League Department of Player Safety announced Friday that first choice stopper Patrick Killeen had been assessed a one game suspension after Wednesday’s fractious 6-1 win against the Clan in Milton Keynes.

Adam Goss will backstop the team this Saturday at intu Braehead when Lightning face the Clan north of the border, with Jordan Boyle in reserve on the bench.  The 22 year old is in his fourth consecutive season with the NIHL Whitley Warriors and Lightning would like to thank the Warriors’ management for agreeing to let Jordan dress for MKL for this fixture.
