Natty’s Grid goes online for the Royal British Legion!
In a first for the Smith Recycling Milton Keynes Lightning, this week popular fund-raiser “Natty’s Grid” will be available online as well as at Saturday’s match, to allow more people than ever before to take part. Every penny of the proceeds raised goes to the Royal British Legion with the lucky winner taking home a special edition ‘Remembrance’ jersey.
“Natty’s Grid” is a regular fund-raiser at Lightning home games, where supporters can buy one or more squares on a numbered grid, for £1 per number. In the second period break, one number is drawn at random with the winner receiving an MKL jersey that will not be available to buy anywhere else.
But for one night only - at this Saturday’s home match against the Cardiff Devils - Natty’s Grid will also be available online at the Lightning website, as well as at the game. This means more grid numbers than ever before will be available, to help maximise the amount raised for the Royal British Legion and allow fans not able to attend the game to make their contribution.
The winning number will be drawn at random on the ice during the second period break and announced immediately - so listen out for the all important information!
Numbers will be available on our online shop until 2pm on match day (Saturday 10 November) and can be bought in blocks of 5. Or if you’re heading to the match, buy your numbers from the Supporters’ Club fund raisers in high viz jackets after you go through the turnstiles.
