Challenge Cup Jersey Auction Update

The auction for the game-worn Challenge Cup jerseys worn by the Smith Recycling MK Lightning players will get underway again at Saturday’s home match-up against the Nottingham Panthers.

All money raised from the winning bids will be split 50-50, with half going direct to Breast Cancer Care to help them continue the wonderful work they do, and half going to the Lightning to go towards meeting ongoing team running costs.

With the news earlier this week of Przemy Odrobny’s departure from the team, the auction for his jersey will end at Saturday’s game.  Bids can be made in person only, at the merchandise stand next to block 14, starting when the doors open at 6.00pm until the whole auction closes when there are 5 minutes left of the second period break.

The auction will run at every home matchnight for as long as we remain in the EIHL Challenge Cup competition – we currently top our group so will have home advantage going into the next round.
